Seeking a Music Minister

Are you a musician who believes music is a "language of the Spirit"? Good Shepherd is looking for a part-time Music Minister to help us create a meaningful worship experience for our congregation and the wider community. We value music as a tool for hospitality, emotional resonance, and building safety within our community.

Why this role is different:

Most church music positions require every single Sunday. Ours doesn't.

• 35 Services per year: This includes 29 Sundays and key holidays like Christmas Eve and Easter.

• 23 Unscheduled Sundays: We value your time and your life outside the church. Nearly half your Sundays are yours.

• True Flexibility: We work on a rolling basis to ensure the schedule fits your availability.

• Creative Freedom: We want you to innovate at the intersection of your interests and our traditions.

The Details:

• Compensation: $6,000 annual salary ($500/month)

• Support: Dedicated budgets for materials ($300) and outside musicians ($700).

• Start Date: We are looking to fill this position by May 2026, but we are focused on finding the right long-term fit.
