Welcome to Good Shepherd!

An ELCA Lutheran Church & Campus Ministry in Houghton, MI.

Motivated by the love of God, we celebrate a ministry of Word and sacrament to Michigan Tech and the surrounding community. We are a diverse gathering of the children of God welcoming others as we continue to know and understand the gifts God provides.

We are a Reconciling In Christ congregation. We openly invite all, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity to join us in worshiping God and celebrating a relationship with Christ as our Savior.

We are a safe place. We are a brave space.

Service of Word and Sacrament

We are gathering for worship in-person on Sundays at 10am. You can also join us for worship at our Good Shepherd online service.

We have a nursery and Sunday School for kids during worship (everyone starts together and then the kids will break out after the children's lesson).
